Richmond weather has been gorgeous recently, so Hayden and I went for a nice long walk to our favorite playground in the area. Here are some pictures!!

177th JAOBC Class Graduates!
Since graduation from the LCS (Legal Center and School for those like me who are still completely confused by all the acronyms the Army keeps throwing around) is Wednesday, the group did a walk-through this morning. I'm not at all surprised to hear that Patrick found out he made the Commandant's List which recognizes the top students to graduate from the class. YAY Patrick!
The week's festivities included a dining-in, a formal event with a variety of military traditions, eating, and of course drinking. The gentlemen (and ladies) donned their dress blues for the event and were joined by the newly promoted Lieutenant General Scott Black. General Black is the Judge Advocate General for the United States Army (TJAG) and was given his third star in December after a long Senate confirmation. He used to be the Commanding General at the LCS so this was not his first dining-in at Charlottesville.
Below are some pictures of Patrick in his dress blues.
Although he looks very dashing, I do have one request... can someone teach him how to tie a bow-tie please ?!?!

Classy
Not so classy.... nice bow-ties, boys

On to hand number two...
HERE WE GO STEELERS!
HERE WE GO!
The Pittsburgh Steelers made history last night, becoming the first team to win six Superbowls! Wahoo!!
We certainly felt the team spirit at our house. Although Patrick and I wish Tim Hightower - a fellow Richmond Spider - all the best with the Cardinals, I was obviously happy my team took home the trophy. I can't help but feel a little redemption after years and years of Patriots dominance. Maybe Big Ben can lead us into a dynasty of our own...
Sarah, this one's for you. Sound familiar?
